Marlon White

After a successful career in banking and telecommunications, Marlon studied law at the Florida A&M University College of Law in Orlando Florida. During law school, Marlon served as President of the Florida A&M University College of Law Environmental Law Society (ELS). While President of ELS, Marlon spearheaded multiple conferences and events educating the public and the legal community of the implications and nexus of environmental policy, civil rights, and constitutional law.
 
Marlon also received high opinions in his role as a competitor in the BMI Moot Court Competition in New York City, the UNLV Gaming Law Moot Court Completion in Las Vegas, and the Florida Bar Mock Trial competition in Orlando. Marlon also played a supportive role in Federal policymaking as a legal intern at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which is a division of The United States Department of Commerce.
 

 

Immediately after graduating law school, Marlon began the practice of law by winning favorable judgments in civil domestic violence injunction cases. Marlon also assisted business clients in the formation of business entities such as corporations and limited liability companies, contract drafting, contract negotiations, as well as individual family law and estate planning matters. Marlon continued his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in the Florida First Judicial Circuit. As a criminal prosecutor, Marlon was the lead State Attorney in multiple jury trials involving various criminal offenses including Driving Under the Influence, Obstruction of Justice, and drug offenses. Currently, as an associate attorney at the Watson Firm, Marlon looks forward to dedicating his time and experience to assisting those who have been affected by personal injury matters.
