Ashley Armstrong

Attorney Ashley Armstrong is a Pensacola native, and proud alumna of the University of West Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies with a focus in Criminal Justice and Psychology in 2017. Ms. Armstrong attended Florida Coastal School of law receiving her Juris Doctor in 2019. Attorney Armstrong was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2020. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, Ms. Armstrong has practiced corporate civil litigation, complex business litigation, construction law, and tort defense. She has experience working as counsel for several of the nations largest insurance companies in matters involving, Personal Injury Protection, bodily injury, worker’s compensation, and longshore accidents. Attorney Armstrong also has experience in wage garnishment, judgment collections, and international consumer disputes.
 
Attorney Armstrong has a strong passion and affinity for client advocacy, fair justice for all, and revitalizing the community. During law school, Ms. Armstrong clerked for a large ALFA firm, assisting with corporate matters ranging from Workers Compensation to Homeowner’s Association disputes. She was a Duke University School of Law LENS Scholar, receiving education on the intersection of the law and our nation’s military at Duke’s LENS program. Ms. Armstrong excelled as a member of Florida Coastal’s Moot Court Honor Board, the number 1 appellate advocacy program in the nation; she participated on a competition-winning team of advocates. While in attendance at Coastal, she proudly served as the President of the Black Law Students Association (“BLSA”) and the Military Law Society, where she implemented numerous community programs assisting the underserved. There, she performed vital work for veterans by assisting with Department of Veterans Affairs claims and appeals, as well as sealing and expungement of criminal records.
 
In her free time, Attorney Armstrong provides services and volunteerism to the local community, primarily as a life-long member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 193. She has also established an initiative to provide children in marginalized Pensacola communities with books to dispel the school-to-prison pipeline; the initiative supplied 50 children with educational reading materials in January 2020 through partnership with Florida Coastal’s BLSA.
