As a native of Pensacola, Attorney Gregory Fayard is honored to practice law in his hometown. By working where he was raised, Gregory has been given the opportunity to give back to a community that has given him so much. A graduate of Escambia High, Greg went off to the University of South Alabama to receive his B.S. in Finance. From there, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law and ultimately came home to Pensacola to begin practicing law.

 

Before joining Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon in 2008, Gregory spent six years in the public defender's office of the 1st Judicial Circuit where he defended more than 1800 indigent clients. During this time he was involved with numerous criminal trials and was lead defense counsel in many of these trials. Gregory transitioned to the area of civil litigation where he has practiced in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation, and tobacco litigation. He now focuses his practice primarily in the area of commercial and residential real estate. Gregory also oversees and manages BP Oil Spill claims and litigation for the firm.

 

Consistently recognized for his professional involvement and community service, Gregory has supported many professional associations and community organizations. He is an agent for The Chicago Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Alliant National Title Insurance Company, Westcor Land Title Insurance Company, and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. He is also a member of the Florida Bar, the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is on the Board for NAIOP, the Escambia-Santa Rosa Area Real Estate Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pensacola, and is involved with many other boards and organizations in our community.

 

Gregory has invested his life into this community and believes that it is an absolute privilege to live and work in Pensacola. Being one of seven children, his family roots run deep in this area and he has established a vast network of family and friends. Gregory is a devoted husband and father, who believes in raising his family in his hometown.  By coaching his two sons with the Northeast Pensacola Youth Athletics, attending Saint Paul’s Catholic Church, and also as a graduate of Leadership of Pensacola, Gregory makes it a point to constantly stay involved with his community.
