Kishane Patel, Esq., is the founding principle attorney at
KJP Counsel. His passion for starting a legal firm stems from wanting to protect business owners, such as his own family, which ignites a special passion to protect and serve the industry from legal interruptions.
Previously, he served as a Law Clerk to the University of Central Florida’s General Counsel’s office and then spent time at the Office of the State Attorney in the Felony Division.

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
Kishane strongly supports giving back to the community that serves him. In 2017, he was elected to serve on the Florida Board of Governors. This role represents the 12 public universities within the State University System of Florida with over +350,000 constituents and a $13.9 billion dollar budget. Kishane, along with his team, were successful in advocating for an expansion of $125 million dollars for Bright Futures Scholarships, an increase of $30 million dollars for mental health resources, and various other student issues. BUSINESS AND CONSTRUCTION BACKGROUND
For years, Kishane has assisted with the family hotel operations and development and then helped start a construction firm, NashBuilt, Inc. Kishane served as the Director of Development, which required recruiting efforts and assisting with the management of multi-million dollar projects through the State of Florida.
