The burgeoning sources of data necessitate a keen understanding of metadata to identify pertinent documents, accelerate the review process, and ensure adherence to the rules governing electronically stored information (ESI).
This presentation provides an examination of the Florida Bar Rules on the production of documents, pretrial procedure, competence, and technological competence. It will further delve into pragmatic strategies for leveraging metadata effectively throughout the discovery process, underscoring the importance of technological competence in modern legal practice.
