Ms. Lindsay joined the firm in 2008 after having been a partner in the firm of Johnston Barton Proctor & Rose, LLP, in Birmingham, Alabama, where she was a labor and employment specialist. She has litigation experience in the federal court system, the Florida and Alabama state courts and administrative hearings.
She graduated from B.T. Washington High School in 1988. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama, with honors, and the Florida State University College of Law, with honors. She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Janie L. Shores of the Supreme Court of Alabama and as Visiting Assistant in Law at the Florida State University College of Law.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Florida State Bar and its Labor and Employment Law Section. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She was honored to serve as a member of the Alabama State Bar’s Leadership Forum for 2005. Ms. Lindsay is a Past President of the Milton Kiwanis Club.
She has served on committees for The City of Milton in the past and has recently been appointed as attorney for The City of Milton.
